Notice of new City of Orillia Planning Application Process

Council has adopted a new City of Orillia Planning Application Process effective July 1, 2009, which will only apply to Official Plan Amendment applications and Zoning By-law Amendment applications.

Highlights of the New City of Orillia Planning Application Process for Official Plan Amendment applications and Zoning By-law Amendment applications.

• Properties subject to the New City of Orillia Planning Application Process must post a “Public Notice Sign”, using the new “Sign Posting Guidelines”
  
  Large Scale and/or Complex applications may require a “Non Statutory Public Open House” hosted by the Applicants/Agents.
  
  
• Council will not render a Decision on an Official Plan Amendment application or a Zoning By-law application until a minimum of 14 days following the Statutory Public Meeting.
