Introduction

The Public Works Department is divided into two logical groupings, Engineering and Operations.

This department has approximately 24 full-time employees and 105 contract/casual employees.

Engineering:

The Engineering division is responsible for the following;

• Survey and property line inquiries.
• Wastewater engineering and construction.
• Stormwater / Drainage system engineering and construction.
• Road / Transportation system engineering and construction.
• Water system engineering and construction.
• Local Improvements and municipal servicing.
• Infrastructure and municipal servicing.
• Public Transit.
• Orillia Wheelchair Limousine Service (OWLS).
