Introduction
The Director of Human Resources, Lori Bolton, (705) 329-7230, is responsible for overseeing all human resource activities including recruitment, employee and labour relations, payroll, confidential employee records, job evaluation, benefit plan administration, grievance resolution, corporate training, collective bargaining, administration of collective agreements, and health and safety. Lori’s Assistant, Michelle Jackson, (705) 325-2539 may also be contacted for information regarding human resources.
Health and Safety: Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, Samantha Owen, Health and Safety Officer (705) 325-6275, is responsible for ensuring all corporate and legislative health and safety policies are adhered to, monthly workplace inspections, attending quarterly Joint Health and Safety Committee meetings, determining and delivering corporate health and safety training needs.
Payroll: Elizabeth Browning, Senior Payroll Clerk, (705) 325-2456, is responsible for processing five separate payrolls using an in-house payroll system, maintaining confidential employee records, preparing monthly statutory remittances, calculating statutory holiday entitlements, and completing Records of Employment.
