Stephen Leacock Museum

Humour yourself and take a step back
in time while you discover a charming place that was once the summer
home of Canada's most famous humourist, Stephen Leacock. This national
historic site hosts the original waterfront home and grounds of the
famous writer. Play in our Children's Discovery Place. Explore the gardens
and trails, waterfront café and unique gift shop.

Orillia Farmers' Market
Since
1872, the Orillia Farmers' Market has served as a meeting place for
the citizens of Orillia and local farms. Trucks loaded with fresh, in-season
produce arrive early Saturday mornings to set up at one of the best
"old-tyme" markets in Ontario! Along with the local produce,
visitors find great home baking, preserves, specialty foods, crafts
and live entertainment by the Orillia Folk Society. The market sets
up beside the Opera House, downtown and is open every Saturday, year-round,
from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm.

OPP Headquarters, Shop & Museum

Orillia is proud to be the home of
the Ontario Provincial Police Headquarters. The building (the Lincoln
Alexander Building) is located at 777 Memorial Avenue. In addition to
the admistrative office for OPP the site plays host to a unique gift
shop and museum that is open to the general public.
